FAQs

  • Where is the venue?

  • What are the lodging options?

    • There are hundreds of hotels, B&B’s and houses available for the weekend at various price points. Our two suggested hotels on the Travel & Lodging page are at full occupancy, so please feel free to book whichever accommodations work for you. Airbnbs and VRBO rentals are a good option too, especially for groups. If you have any questions about accommodations at any point, please don’t hesitate to reach out! We will have buses to the ceremony and reception leaving from central locations in Carmel-by-the-Sea and Carmel Valley Village.

  • When are things happening?

    • There is a full schedule available on the Events page.

  • What will the weather be like?

  • Can I bring my young children to the wedding?

    • We love your little ones, but prefer that they stay at home for the ceremony and reception on Saturday. They are welcome at the daytime BBQ on Friday and the farewell brunch on Sunday. There are local babysitting services we can suggest if interested. If leaving them at home with a sitter is not an option for you, let’s talk. We want to make it stress-free to travel with your family.

  • What do we wear for the weekend?

    • Our ceremony and reception will be cocktail attire. Everything else is casual, so wear whatever you please. The Holly Farm grounds are grassy and have some gravel paths, so ladies, plan your footwear accordingly. We recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl for evenings as well.

  • Will there be transportation to and from events?

    • We will be providing 2 vans to the ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 21st. One will leave from Carmel River Inn in Carmel-by-the-Sea (15 min. west of the venue), and the other will leave from Carmel Valley Lodge in the Carmel Valley Village (10 min. east of the venue).

    • We will also have complementary cars available shuttling people home from the venue from 9pm-1am. Ubers and cars for hire are also abundant in Carmel, so additional transportation options are available.

    • You are welcome to leave your cars at The Holly Farm for any part of the weekend (but please keep them secured and locked).

  • Can we bring our pets?

    • There are many pet-friendly accommodations in the area. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at The Holly Farm, so please plan accordingly.
